Import charges in the United Arab Emirates
Exempt up to AED 1,000; above that 5 % VAT and 5 % duty.
Courier shipments up to about AED 1,000 without duty; above it 5% duty and 5% VAT on the value including duty.
Example: a parcel worth €200.00
- For a parcel worth €200.00 (below AED 1,000) you normally pay no VAT and no duty; the carrier may still charge a fixed clearance fee.
- Whether you pay in advance or on delivery depends on the carrier; you see this when choosing the label.

What do I pay in total for a shipment {naar_land}?
The carrier label plus our handling — both in the calculator in advance — and in addition the import charges of your own country on delivery. VAT to the shop is already in the shop price.
How long does it take {naar_land}?
A parcel from an EU web shop usually reaches your Dutch address within a few working days; we book it in the same or the next working day. Then you choose the carrier, and the calculator shows its delivery time to the United Arab Emirates.
Do I pay import duty {in_land}?
That depends on the value and the product; the rule of your country is above with source and date. We declare the real purchase value and prepare the customs paperwork; the charges themselves you pay to the carrier or your own customs.
