Privacy statement

How we handle the data you entrust to us.

Version: 8 August 2026

Who we are

DZH Transport, based in Heesch, is responsible for processing the personal data you share with us through this website. Questions about this statement? Use the contact details at the bottom of every page.

What data we process

This website has no accounts and no web shop; we only process what you send us yourself through a form. For a quote or contact request: your name, email address, phone number if provided, your message and — if you used the calculator — the trip or parcel details you entered and the calculated from-price.

For a partner registration: company name, Chamber of Commerce and NIWO numbers, contact details and any supporting documents you attach. Those files are stored on our own server, outside the public part of the website — they cannot be opened through a link.

For a reshipper registration: your name, email address and country, plus the customer code we assign to you.

Addresses and the price calculator

Addresses you enter in the calculator are used solely to calculate distance and driving time. For that calculation, the address — without your name or any other details — and the route are looked up with the public OpenStreetMap services (Nominatim and OSRM).

We keep calculated coordinates and routes in a cache to avoid repeated lookups. That cache contains no personal data: only a non-traceable reference (hash) to the address text and the corresponding coordinates.

Cookies

This website uses one functional cookie: 'taal', which remembers your language choice for a year. There are no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, no third-party pixels and no statistics services — if you're just looking around, you remain anonymous to us.

Email

Form submissions are delivered to us via our own mail server; no external newsletter or marketing service is connected to this website. You only receive email from us in reply to your own request.

Sharing with third parties

We never sell or rent your data. Data only goes to third parties when necessary to carry out your order — for example, name and delivery address to the carrier driving the final leg of an international shipment — or when the law requires it.

Retention periods

We keep requests and quotes as long as needed for the contact and any resulting order, and no longer than two years after the last contact. If a request becomes an order, the statutory fiscal retention periods for our records apply from that moment.

Supporting documents from partner registrations that don't lead to a partnership are deleted within six months of the rejection.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correction and deletion, to restriction of processing, to objection and to data portability. One email is enough; we respond within the statutory period of one month.

If you believe we're not handling your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Contact

Questions about privacy or this statement? Call, message or email us using the details at the bottom of every page — the 60-minute response applies here too.

Trustpilot

At the foot of our pages there is a Trustpilot widget you can use to leave a review. Your browser loads a script from Trustpilot to show it; that is the only external party loaded on this site. Trustpilot may see your IP address and set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy — we receive none of that and do not use it. If you would rather not, block scripts from trustpilot.com; the rest of the site keeps working.
