Additional runs
Overflow work in busy periods and runs in your own region — work that fits alongside your existing schedule, not instead of it.
Driving for DZH
We're looking for carriers who drive the way we do: tidy, on time and with their paperwork in order. Partnering is only possible with your own NIWO Euro licence.
Only with your own NIWO Euro licence
Our work comes in waves: auction weeks, seasonal peaks, international runs that coincide. At those moments we deploy trusted partners alongside our own vans — independent carriers who drive for us under their own licence.
We deliberately keep the partner list short. Rather a handful of companies we know inside out and that drive for us regularly, than a long list gathering dust. Once your company is on it, you'll hear from us whenever there's work that fits your vehicle and region.
Overflow work in busy periods and runs in your own region — work that fits alongside your existing schedule, not instead of it.
Rate, route and conditions are fixed before you set off. For every run you know what you're driving and what you'll receive for it.
No portal and no middle layers: you call or message our planners directly, outside office hours too.
We check these seven points before the first run. They follow from the rules for professional road haulage and from our own partnership conditions — and they are not negotiable.
You hold a valid Euro licence issued by the NIWO. It is required for professional goods transport with a vehicle or combination with a payload over 500 kg, or a maximum authorised mass over 2,500 kg — for domestic Dutch runs as well as cross-border transport.
You (or your company's transport manager) hold the certificate of professional competence for road haulage and are registered as such in the Dutch Business Register (KVK).
You (and where applicable your transport manager) can present a recent Dutch certificate of conduct (VOG), as required for the NIWO licence.
You are registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK), with an establishment address in the Netherlands.
Your vehicles carry at least third-party liability cover at all times, as required under the Dutch Motor Insurance Liability Act (WAM).
You are adequately insured against your liability as a carrier (AVC/CMR insurance) for damage, loss or delay of the cargo during transport. Worth knowing: unlike the vehicle insurance above, this is not a separate statutory insurance obligation but a condition for working with us. The liability itself is firmly established — the CMR convention applies to cross-border transport by operation of law, and the AVC conditions apply domestically when agreed — and this insurance covers it.
If you or your drivers operate a vehicle that requires a category C or C1 driving licence (generally above 3,500 kg maximum authorised mass), the driver holds the Code 95 professional competence, including timely refresher training. For vans up to 3,500 kg driven on a regular category B licence, this requirement does not apply.
Mind a common misconception: a van between 2,500 and 3,500 kg maximum authorised mass does fall under the licence requirement, but a category B driving licence suffices and Code 95 is not needed. And do you drive international runs with a vehicle or combination from 2,500 kg? Since 1 July 2026 a smart tachograph version 2 is mandatory for those.
Fill in what you have at hand; supporting documents can be attached now or supplied later. We'll get back to you.
