Forwarding Action orders to Canada
Action has no stores in Canada, which is exactly why Dutch expats miss it: cheap craft supplies, party decoration, storage boxes and seasonal items. The honest arithmetic: shipping a few of those across the Atlantic costs more than the goods, and Canada charges GST or HST above a CAD 20 exemption, so single small orders rarely pay off. What does work is one full box: order several times to your DZH address, we photograph and hold the parcels, and you release one bundled shipment with one customs declaration. Action's webshop covers the Netherlands and Belgium and delivers only in the country where you place the order, so the Dutch address is the only way in.

Does Action ship to Canada?
No. According to Action's customer service page the webshop is available in the Netherlands and Belgium, and Action delivers only in the country where you place your order. Order on the Dutch webshop to your DZH address; we receive the parcel, check and photograph it, and forward it to Canada with the customs declaration prepared.
What does Canada charge on a box from Action?
Above the CAD 20 exemption for parcels from the EU, GST or HST applies on the goods plus shipping, and duty depends on each product and its country of origin, which for Action's range is often outside Europe. The carrier collects the amounts on delivery and may add a brokerage fee. We declare the real prices from your order.
Can I pay at Action with a Canadian card, and is everything available online?
Action lists iDEAL and credit card, Mastercard or Visa; whether cards issued outside the Netherlands work could not be verified, so test with a small order. Not everything from the stores is online: Action says products from its in-store weekly deal, the Weekactie, can usually not be ordered on the webshop.
