Forwarding bol.com orders to Canada
Canada has a large Dutch community, and bol.com is where many of them still buy Dutch books, children's books, Sinterklaas presents and Dutch brands for the kitchen and bathroom. bol.com's delivery pages only describe the Netherlands and Belgium, so a Canadian address cannot be entered at checkout. With your Dutch address at DZH you order as a Dutch customer; we receive the parcels, photograph them and bundle several orders into one shipment to Canada. Bundling matters here: Canada's exemption for parcels from the EU is only CAD 20, so almost every shipment pays GST/HST, and one well-packed box with correct customs paperwork is cheaper to ship and clear than five small ones.
You know the price before you order. No subscription, no minimum term.

Frequently asked questions
Does bol.com ship to Canada?
bol.com's delivery pages describe the Netherlands and Belgium; Canada is not among the countries listed. Order to your Dutch address at DZH with your customer code instead, and we forward the parcel to any Canadian address with the carrier you choose, with tracking and customs paperwork included.
What do I pay at Canadian customs on a bol.com order?
For parcels from the EU the Canadian exemption is only CAD 20. Above that you pay GST or HST on the value, plus duty that depends on the type of product. The carrier collects these amounts before delivery, sometimes with a handling fee. We declare the real purchase value and a clear description of each item.
Can I return a bol.com order from Canada?
Yes. Request the return at bol.com, enter our address as the sender and upload the return label with the parcel in My DZH; we hand it to the carrier. Shipping from Canada back to the Netherlands takes time and is at your cost, so check bol.com's return window before deciding to send it back.
