Does MediaMarkt ship to the USA?
Forwarding MediaMarkt orders to Canada
From Canada, MediaMarkt.nl is mostly about things that never reach North American shelves: European game editions, Philips and other EU-brand audio and personal care, espresso machines and small kitchen appliances. The shop delivers to Dutch addresses only, so you order to your address at DZH and we forward the parcel to Canada. Be aware that Dutch appliances are built for 230 V and a European plug, while Canada uses 120 V; a laptop or phone charger usually copes, a kettle or coffee machine does not. Lithium batteries are accepted only when built into the device, never loose. Canada's exemption for parcels from the EU is just CAD 20, so expect GST or HST and possibly duty on almost every order.

Frequently asked questions
Does MediaMarkt ship to Canada?
MediaMarkt.nl describes delivery to addresses in the Netherlands; Canada is not listed. Order to your Dutch address at DZH and we forward the parcel to your Canadian address. Describe the device and mention any battery when you register the parcel, so we can match it to a carrier that accepts it.
Will a device from MediaMarkt work in Canada, and can it contain a battery?
Check the label: chargers for laptops, phones and cameras are usually rated 100 to 240 V and only need a plug adapter, but kettles, hair dryers and coffee machines built for 230 V will not work on 120 V. A lithium battery may travel only when built into the device; loose batteries and power banks are refused.
What do I pay in Canadian tax and duty on electronics from MediaMarkt?
The exemption for parcels from the EU is only CAD 20, so nearly every order is taxed: GST or HST depending on your province, plus duty at a rate that depends on the type of device. The carrier collects these on delivery, sometimes with a brokerage fee. We declare the real price from your MediaMarkt invoice.
