Black Friday 2026 at Dutch web shops: how to join in from abroad
Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday 27 November, with Cyber Monday on 30 November. Dutch web shops have taken part for years, often with a whole Black Friday week that starts the Monday before. If you live abroad you see those offers, but checkout usually stops you: the shop only delivers in the Netherlands or Belgium.
With a Dutch address from DZH you order like any Dutch customer. We receive your parcels, combine them if you ordered from several shops and forward everything in one shipment. This article covers when to order, which shops are worth it and what customs charges you can expect at home.
When to order
Most Dutch shops open their Black Friday offers in the week of 23 November and keep them running through Cyber Monday. Popular sizes and colours sell out fast on the Friday itself, so if you want a specific item, order on the first day the discount applies. Creating an account and saving your Dutch address in advance saves time on the day.
Allow for the rush afterwards. Web shops and carriers have their busiest weeks in late November and early December, so a parcel can take a few days longer to reach us. After that you set the pace: your parcels wait with us until you say the shipment is complete and can go.
Which shops take part
Electronics and household appliances are the classics: Coolblue and MediaMarkt advertise weeks ahead, bol.com runs its own Black Friday week with daily deals, and fashion shops such as Zalando.nl, Wehkamp and de Bijenkorf discount part of their range. Our shop guides list, per shop, what it says about delivery abroad and which payment cards it accepts.
German web shops take part on the same day and more often deliver to more EU countries. For some brands amazon.de or a German shop is therefore the simpler route. Dutch shops win on typically Dutch products, Dutch-language books and games, and on brands that have no web shop of their own in your country. Compare the price including shipping and, outside the EU, including the charges in your country.
Forwarding through your Dutch address
At checkout you enter your Dutch address, with your customer code on the address line. As soon as a parcel arrives with us you see it in My DZH, with a photo. You can have it forwarded straight away or wait until the orders from other shops have arrived and send everything in one box: one shipping fee, one customs clearance.
You see the forwarding price in advance in the calculator, based on destination, weight and size. There is no subscription and no minimum term; you pay per shipment. Every shipment is insured up to €99 as standard, and you request higher cover before the label is created.
Customs outside the EU
A Black Friday bargain is simply a purchase at import: if you live outside the EU, the customs authority of your country charges import duties and tax on the invoice value. We declare the real value and attach the invoice; we do not declare a lower value. Our country pages show the threshold per country and what you can roughly expect.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Black Friday discount apply when I order through a Dutch address?
Yes. To the shop you are a Dutch customer with a Dutch address, so you pay the same promotional price. Do check payment cards: some shops accept Dutch payment methods only; our shop guides say per shop what we know about that.
How long until my Black Friday order reaches me?
Count the shop's delivery time to us, one working day for registering it with us, and then the carrier's transit time to your country. Late November is busy, so allow a few days of margin. If you want it before the holidays, see our Christmas shipping deadlines.
Can I return a Black Friday purchase?
The cooling-off period still applies, but the return has to go back to the shop's Dutch address and the period runs from delivery to us. If you are unsure about a size, leave the parcel with us first and request extra photos before you have it forwarded.
