A Canadian grandchild with Dutch roots gets Dutch picture-book characters, games in Dutch and Sinterklaas surprises from Intertoys, and the Dutch address from DZH is what makes that possible: the webshop describes home delivery with DHL and Click & Collect in its stores, nothing about Canada. We receive the parcels, photograph them, and bundle a whole gift list into one shipment, insured and with one customs declaration. Be aware that Canada exempts only CAD 20 for parcels from the EU, so GST or HST will apply, plus duty depending on the toy and where it was made. Large toys are priced on volume; for items too big for regular parcel post Intertoys charges extra delivery costs, shown with the product.

Does Intertoys ship to Canada?
Not as far as its customer service pages say: they describe home delivery with DHL and Click & Collect at Intertoys stores, and delivery to other countries is not mentioned. Order to your Dutch DZH address instead; we receive the parcel, check and photograph it, and forward it to Canada with the customs declaration prepared.
What does Canada charge on toys from Intertoys?
Above the CAD 20 exemption for parcels from the EU, GST or HST is charged on the toys plus shipping, and duty depends on the kind of toy and the country where it was made, often outside Europe. The carrier collects the amounts on delivery and may add a brokerage fee. We declare the real prices from your Intertoys order.
Is a big toy worth forwarding to Canada?
Sometimes. A large light box is priced on its volume rather than its weight, so check the calculator with the product dimensions before you order; for items too large or heavy for regular parcel post Intertoys itself adds delivery costs. Smaller toys, books and games travel cheaply, especially several together in one bundled shipment.
