Forwarding Rituals orders to Canada
In Canada, Rituals is mostly known from travel, which makes the Dutch webshop the place to restock on a favourite scrub and to pick up Dutch gift sets. Rituals directs you to the website of your own country and does not ship to countries outside its list, so you order the Dutch range to your address at DZH and we forward it. Creams, scrubs, candles, tea and shower foam travel easily. Perfume, body mist and aerosols are flammable liquids and not every carrier flies them to Canada; register them and we check per item before shipping. With an exemption of only CAD 20 on goods from the EU, expect GST or HST and possibly duty on almost every order.

What Rituals does and does not deliver to Canada

Rituals' Dutch delivery FAQ says that to send an order to another country, you select the Rituals website for that country.

The same answer says you can only use the payment methods approved for that country, that stock can differ per country, and that if your country is not in the list, Rituals does not ship there at the moment.

Does Rituals ship to Canada?
Rituals' Dutch FAQ says you order on the Rituals site of your own country and that countries outside its list are not served at the moment. Check first whether a Canadian site carries what you want; if not, or for the Dutch range, order to your Dutch address at DZH and we forward the parcel to Canada.
What do I pay in Canadian tax and duty on Rituals products?
For goods from the EU the exemption is only CAD 20, so nearly every order is taxed. You pay GST or HST depending on your province, plus duty at a rate that depends on the product, for instance a body cream versus a candle. The carrier collects these on delivery, sometimes with a brokerage fee. We declare the real purchase price.
Can you forward Rituals perfume and body mist to Canada?
Not always, and we say so before you order. Perfume, body mist and aerosols are flammable liquids; some carriers refuse them on flights to Canada, others accept small quantities with the right declaration. Tick them under restricted goods when you register the parcel and we tell you before shipping which items can go and which cannot.
