Are there hidden surcharges?

No. Everything we charge is on the rates page and in the calculator: the label, our handling, an extra parcel when bundling, storage after the included days, and the carrier's surcharges for a large or heavy box or a remote address. Those last ones are already in the price you see, because the calculator uses the same table as our warehouse. What we never do: add an amount after you have chosen, ask a registration or membership fee, or charge for photos you did not order. If our rates change, the new prices only apply to shipments you create afterwards, and you always see them in the calculator first.
