You order online from De Bijenkorf and choose in-store collection; our courier presents your collection confirmation at the desk, checks that every item is there and that boxes and bags are undamaged, and drives them to our depot in Waalwijk.
From there, you set the pace. Forwarding everything at once is possible, but waiting for a second order and shipping together works just as well — around the holidays that makes a real difference. Store gift wrapping stays untouched and is packed again as a whole. And if you are unsure about a size or colour, or after an item that is sold out online, our personal shopper takes to the shop floor for you.

Order from the Dutch shop yourself and choose click & collect. Forward us the collection confirmation — that is usually all we need.

We collect
Our courier picks up the order at the shop or pick-up point, shows identification where required and checks the parcel for visible damage.

We pack your order securely, prepare the customs paperwork and ship through the best carrier contract — or deliver it ourselves within the Netherlands and the EU.

Frequently asked questions
Can I combine items from different brands into one shipment?
Yes — that is precisely the advantage of a department-store order: everything reaches us as one collection order and crosses the world as one shipment. Later add-on orders can be merged in on request as well.
Will De Bijenkorf's gift wrapping survive the journey?
We never open wrapped gifts; we photograph the outside and pack the whole parcel with additional cushioning. The ribbon arrives as crisp as it left the store.
What do I pay on top of the order itself?
You pay us for collection and shipping; the calculator gives you a from-price for that in advance, excl. VAT. Shipping outside the EU, the destination country may additionally charge import duties and tax — those run via customs and are payable by you as the recipient.
