A German forwarding address or a Dutch one?
German webshops and Dutch webshops both sit inside the EU, so the real question is which shops you want to buy from and how the address is run. Below, three German forwarding addresses side by side with DZH, which gives you a Dutch address: the same six facts for each, with a source and date per cell.
Last checked on 2026-10-19. Each cell names its source; what we could not verify is marked 'unknown'.

Our honest take
Our honest take: a German address makes sense if most of what you buy comes from German shops, since a parcel to a German address is a domestic delivery there. For Dutch shops the same holds for a Dutch address. forward2me's German address ships from Poland, myGermany now runs on forward2me's system, and mailboxde only accepts EU parcels; for German shopping each of the three is a sound choice. DZH gives you a Dutch address with the price known before you ship, no subscription and no identity check; the parcel stays in the Netherlands until it leaves.
