Does Coolblue ship to the USA?

Forwarding Coolblue orders to the United States

Coolblue is where Dutch people in the United States look for the electronics they trust from home: headphones, e-readers, coffee machines and small kitchen appliances. Its delivery page describes options for the Netherlands and links to shops for Belgium and Germany, but not the US, so an American address does not get you through checkout. With your Dutch address at DZH you order like a Dutch customer; we receive the parcel, photograph it and ship it to the US. Two things to check before you buy: Dutch appliances run on 230 volts with a European plug, so pick devices with a universal power supply, and since the US small-parcel exemption was suspended, duty applies from the first dollar.

You know the price before you order. No subscription, no minimum term.

What Coolblue does and does not deliver to the United States

  • Coolblue's delivery FAQ says small products can come as standard or evening delivery or be collected from a PostNL point, and that for large products delivered by Coolblue itself (CoolblueBezorgt) you choose a four-hour time slot at an extra charge.

Frequently asked questions

Does Coolblue ship to the USA?

Coolblue's delivery page covers the Netherlands and links to its Belgian and German shops; the United States is not mentioned. Order to your Dutch address at DZH with your customer code, and we forward the parcel to any US address. For large appliances, ask us for a price first: weight and size drive the cost.

Do I pay US duty on electronics from Coolblue?

Since 29 August 2025 the US no longer waives duty on small parcels, so duty can apply from the first dollar. The rate depends on the product and on the country where it was made, which for electronics is rarely the Netherlands. The carrier collects it on delivery. We declare the real purchase value and prepare the customs form.

Will a Coolblue device work on US power?

The Netherlands uses 230 volts and European plugs; the US uses 120 volts. Laptops, phones and most chargers accept both, but kettles, coffee machines and hair dryers often do not. Check the label or the product page for the supported voltage before you order, and count on a plug adapter. Devices with large lithium batteries may limit the carrier choice.
