Zalando lists Switzerland among the countries with a Zalando shop of their own, so for everyday fashion a Swiss customer can simply order there. Zalando.nl becomes interesting when a brand, size or sale price is only on the Dutch shop: that shop delivers within the Netherlands only, so you cannot have it sent to a Swiss address. With your Dutch address at DZH you order like a Dutch customer; we receive the parcel, bundle it with other orders if you like and ship it to Switzerland with the customs paperwork, as Switzerland is outside the EU. Swiss customs has no value threshold, but nothing is charged when the VAT would stay below CHF 5.

What Zalando NL does and does not deliver to Switzerland

Do I pay Swiss VAT or duty on clothing from Zalando.nl?

Above that, Swiss VAT applies to the value and duty depends on the garment; the carrier collects it, often with a clearance fee. We declare the real purchase value and describe each item correctly.
Can I return a Zalando.nl order from Switzerland?
Yes: request the return at Zalando, choose our address as the sender and upload the return label with the parcel in My DZH; we hand it to the carrier. A return from Switzerland crosses a customs border again and is at your cost, and Zalando's return window starts at delivery to our address, so decide quickly.
