Big screens, big boxes, no scratches
MediaMarkt is where the big appliances live — and precisely those are hard to move. A 65-inch television, for instance, must never lie flat: the panel then carries its own weight the wrong way and can crack without any visible impact. Our vans carry straps and racks to transport screens upright, exactly as the manufacturer intended.
When collecting at the service desk we check every box for dents and moisture marks before signing, note the serial number and record the condition in photos. With washing machines we leave the transport bolts in place during the drive — that is exactly the moment they are there for.
Then you choose: door delivery within the Netherlands and the EU by ourselves, or worldwide shipping in made-to-measure outer packaging, insured for the purchase value. Smaller electronics you order more often can be bundled into one economical shipment through our reshipper service.

Order from the Dutch shop yourself and choose click & collect. Forward us the collection confirmation — that is usually all we need.

We collect
Our courier picks up the order at the shop or pick-up point, shows identification where required and checks the parcel for visible damage.

Packing and shipping
We pack your order securely, prepare the customs paperwork and ship through the best carrier contract — or deliver it ourselves within the Netherlands and the EU.

Frequently asked questions
Can you transport a large television safely?
Yes — provided it stays upright, and that is the only way we carry screens: standing in a rack, secured with straps and with no pressure on the panel. Laying a TV flat is the classic way to kill it, and it does not happen with us.
What do you check when picking up at the store?
The outside of every box, the number of packages against your order confirmation and the serial number on the label. Everything is photographed before we leave the store; if transport damage is already present, we refuse the item and you hear it immediately.
What does international delivery of a large appliance cost?
Size and weight set the price, so with white goods and large screens you are quickly into custom quotes. The calculator gives a first from-indication excl. VAT; for destinations outside the EU, import charges of the destination country come on top, settled by you as the recipient.
