Australia and the Netherlands both run on 230 volts, which makes Coolblue a surprisingly practical shop for Dutch people down under: a Senseo machine, Philips shaver heads, an e-reader or a pair of headphones works there with nothing more than a plug adapter. Coolblue's delivery page describes options for the Netherlands and links to its Belgian and German shops; Australia is not mentioned, so an Australian address fails at checkout. Order to your Dutch address at DZH instead: we receive the parcel, photograph it and ship it to Australia with customs paperwork. The route is long and priced by weight, so we repack compactly, and up to AUD 1,000 Australia charges only 10 % GST.

What do I pay at Australian customs on a Coolblue order?
Up to AUD 1,000 in value nothing is charged at the border. Above that, 10 % GST and duty (usually 5 %) apply and the carrier collects them before delivery, sometimes with a processing fee. We declare the real purchase value and a clear description, so the parcel clears without questions.
Will a Coolblue device work in Australia?
Yes for the voltage: both countries use 230 volts, so kettles, coffee machines and shavers from Coolblue work in Australia. You only need a plug adapter, because Australian sockets take a different plug than the European one. Devices with large lithium batteries are restricted by some carriers, so ask us before you order those.
