Who pays VAT and import duty, and how much?

Two things, paid twice, and that is not a mistake on our side. Dutch VAT is in the shop price: you pay it to the shop and do not get it back, because delivery to our address is an ordinary domestic delivery. In addition, your own country charges its own VAT or tax on import and often duty on the value of your parcel; you pay that on delivery to the carrier or your customs. How much depends on the country and the product: per destination the rule is on our destination page with source and date, with a worked example of two hundred euros. We are not the seller and cannot take the VAT out of the price; whoever promises that promises something the law does not allow. Bundling does help: one shipment means one clearance.
