Vehicle transport with a driver: your car is driven, not carried

You fly to Monaco, Marbella or Gstaad; your car is there when you arrive. One dedicated driver takes it out, back, or both ways.

Response within 60 minutes · Available 24/7

A Ferrari on the Côte d'Azur, a Porsche at the chalet, a McLaren in Milan: wanting your own car at your destination should not cost you two days behind the wheel. We take the vehicle out, collect it again at the end of the season, or do both — with a driver who handles the car the way you do.

Kilometres go on the odometer; that is the honest downside of driving instead of carrying. So you know the exact distance before departure, we record mileage and condition with photographs at departure and on arrival, and one dedicated driver covers the entire route. No changeovers along the way, no unfamiliar hands on your key.

How it works

  1. You register the trip

Make and model, where the car is, where it needs to go and the date you want. Plus confirmation that the insurance covers the entire route.

  2. We confirm route, distance and driver

You receive the route, the number of kilometres it will add and the name of the driver who covers the whole trip — with one fixed amount, before departure.

  3. Departure: mileage and condition recorded

Odometer, paintwork, wheels and interior are photographed. Keys and documents are handed over however you arrange it: at your home, at the garage, or with the concierge.

  4. Arrival: the same check, then the key

At the destination we take the same photographs and note the closing mileage. You or your authorised contact signs for receipt and receives both sets digitally.

The odometer, agreed in advance

Before departure we note the mileage and photograph the vehicle all round: paintwork, wheels, glass and interior. On arrival we repeat that, at the same points and in the same order, and you receive both sets. The difference is on record, so it is not a matter of trust. Route and distance are agreed beforehand, tolls and vignettes included, and one driver covers the whole trip within the statutory rest periods. One condition: your vehicle must be insured, with cover in every country on the route — our driver drives on the vehicle's own running policy. A non-running or damaged vehicle is possible on request.

Why DZH Transport

Driven, not carried

No trailer, no enclosed transporter, no tow rope. Your car travels under its own power, with a driver at the wheel.

One driver, the whole route

The same person from departure to arrival. No handover in a service area and nobody unfamiliar taking over halfway.

Mileage and condition on record

Odometer and condition photographed at departure and on arrival. You know the distance involved before we set off.

What does it cost?

Vehicle transport is bespoke: the price applies per trip and is quoted on request. Destination, distance, tolls and vignettes and the driver's outward or return journey determine the amount. The calculator gives an early indication of the driving costs; the final amount (excl. VAT) is fixed before departure, together with the agreed route. You will hear it within 60 minutes of your request.

Frequently asked questions

My car will not run — can you still move it?

This service exists for roadworthy, insured vehicles: our driver takes your car to its destination by road. If the car is immobile through damage or a fault, that is bespoke work on request — mention it with your enquiry and we will look for a suitable solution with you. It is very much the exception, and not what this service is built for.

Does my car go on a trailer or in an enclosed transporter?

No. Your car is driven, by our driver, on the road — no trailer, no enclosed transporter, no tow rope. That is also why it reaches places a transporter cannot: an underground car park in Monaco, a driveway in Saint-Tropez, a chalet road above Gstaad.

Does my car have to be insured?

Yes. Your vehicle must be insured, with cover in every country we drive through; our driver drives on the vehicle's own running policy. Check this with your insurer before you book — without valid cover the trip cannot go ahead.

Do you also drive to Switzerland, Monaco or the United Kingdom?

Yes. Alongside the European Union we drive to Switzerland, Monaco, Andorra and the United Kingdom; we arrange the vignettes and border paperwork. What we cannot do is a destination on another continent: no road leads there, and we do not arrange shipping.

What does it cost to have my car driven to the south of France?

The price is bespoke and quoted on request. We cost out the agreed route — distance, tolls and vignettes, and the driver's outward or return journey — and name one fixed amount (excl. VAT) before anyone gets in. Within 60 minutes of your enquiry you know where you stand.
