Germany is in the EU: no customs clearance and no import duty. For private customers our price includes 21 % Dutch VAT; business customers with a valid VAT number are invoiced with the VAT reverse-charged.
Ordering from bol.com in Germany
By default bol.com only delivers in the Netherlands and Belgium. For other EU countries, such as Germany, there is a limited exception: only items sold by bol itself, so nothing from third-party sellers, and even those exclude, among other things, electronics and medicines. For everything else a Dutch delivery address works: bol delivers to us and we forward to Germany, within the EU without customs.

What does a parcel to Germany cost?
The starting price on this page covers a 1 kg parcel of 20 × 20 × 10 cm including handling and packaging. Heavier or larger parcels are priced instantly in the calculator; bundling several parcels into one shipment is usually the cheapest option.
Do I pay import duty in Germany?
No. Germany is in the EU, so there is no customs clearance and no import duty; for private customers our price includes Dutch VAT.
Do I get a Dutch address for my orders to Germany?
Yes. After signing up you receive your own customer code and our delivery address in the Netherlands. You enter that address at the web shop; we receive the parcel and forward it to Germany.
Can I bundle several orders to Germany?
Yes. We store the parcels that arrive for you and, at your request, send them as one shipment to Germany. You then pay shipping once instead of per parcel.
Can I track my shipment to Germany?
Yes. Every shipment gets its own tracking page with the status at our warehouse and the courier information once the parcel is on its way to Germany.
